The Claremont House Special Care Unit (CHSCU)

The 16 bed CHSCU is located away from the downtown core on a  multi-acre facility at St. Joseph's Health Care in Hamilton.

The Claremont House Special Care Unit offers a distinct approach to bridge the gap and meet the unique needs of the people we serve.

Together, health and social service providers work side by side to improve the quality of life of clients in a community care facility while providing coordinated health care and managed alcohol treatment.

The program is unique in offering a continuum of care, ranging from short stay assessment to longer term care, and palliative care.
